Last Sunday we headed up to the cottage to celebrate my birthday. Randy and Hilary brought Bower, their dog, who we were anxious to have Mabel interact with. Bower wasn't too interested in the musings of a puppy, so he pretty much ignored her. Until she got a little too friendly,then he stood his ground and told Mabel who was boss. It was so funny because Mabel kept her back towards Bower the rest of the afternoon! We just need to get Mabel off to her first day of puppy kindergarten where she can romp and roll with other energetic pups. Soon enough, Bower and Mabel will be buds!
We were hoping she would like the water, but she was not interested at all. Don't be deceived by these pictures because Aaron had to pull her in. I want to try taking her to my parents' condo where she can walk into the water from a beachy area...this might be more suitable and less frightening.

OHHH- she's so cute and still all big paws and skinny limbs and floppy. I can't wait to meet her :)
