Who Dun It?

I've been wanting to visit the Who Dun It? exhibit at the Grand Rapids Public Museum for several months now. Since it wraps up January 4, Aaron and I thought we better go before the craziness of the holidays hit. "Who Dun It" is a crime solving exhibit in which you must try to solve a crime by following a case and collecting clues.

As you enter the exhibit, you start in Memory Diner to watch a "live" TV news report with local TV personalities. Through this you learn of the crime and hear a conversation between a detective and the diner's cook. After leaving Memory Diner, you head over to the crime scene (where a GRPD car is parked with lights flashing) and investigate the crime scene, which was a murder and robbery. You collect clues from the crime scene and use them along the way. Following the investigation of the crime scene you have to create a sketch of the suspect, identify and match fingerprints, match the murder weapon to the owner, watch an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and finally use DNA evidence to correctly identify the criminal.

The whole investigation took a lot of thinking, but was quite fun. We learned lots along the way about crime solving too. In the end, we solved the crime correctly. Kudos to Detective Aaron and Detective Carrie!
