This weekend I ran in a 5k in Byron Center. I was worried because I am not a very fast runner...sprinting just isn't my thing. That's why I was so surprised to see my time was 22:34 (that's about a 7:17 minute mile)! Running my personal best wasn't the only cool thing, I also took 5th place in my age division of over 50 runners.

Ah yes...post race! It's quite a glamorous shot, I know!

YO! Go Carrie! That is AWESOME. I would totally get a shirt that says "I run 7 minute miles"
